Deluxe Courtyard
Our quietest room — lime-plaster walls, a brass reading light and a window that opens onto the frangipani courtyard.
Thirty-eight rooms inside carved sandstone walls, a rooftop pool above the Pink City, and a courtyard where the traffic of Jaipur simply stops.
Jaipur has no shortage of palaces. What it did not have was somewhere quiet — a house with the craft of the old city, but the calm of a place designed today.
AMARA was built over four years with stone-carvers from Dungarpur, block-printers from Sanganer and a landscape architect who believes a courtyard should be the loudest thing in a hotel. Thirty-eight keys. No lobby music. Frangipani, brass, and a great deal of silence.
Every room is built around an arch, a piece of stone and a view. Linens from Jaipur, baths carved by hand, and a minibar you will actually want.

The top of the house: a private plunge pool, a brass fire bowl and a terrace that looks straight at Nahargarh at blue hour.
Our concierge keeps a small black book: the carver who still works by hand, the stepwell nobody visits at 7 am, the table at the pass.
Dawn walks through the old city with our in-house historian — before the shutters open.
Chai, silence and the first light on the Aravalli ridge.
The pool stays open late. Lanterns, and the fort lit on the hill.
Block printing and blue pottery with third-generation Jaipur artisans.
Six courses at the pass with chef Kabir Rathore.
Marigold is contemporary Rajasthani cooking with a wood fire at its centre. Three floors below, Baithak pours heritage spirits behind carved jaali; Dhoop keeps the coffee and the courtyard honest all day.
Four treatment rooms, a hammam, a 20-metre lap pool and a rooftop deck for sunrise yoga. Our signature Pink City Ritual takes ninety minutes and ends with tea on the terrace.
Curated stays including breakfast, spa credit and the small things that make a weekend feel longer. Booked direct, always at the best rate.

“The rare city hotel that feels like a private house. We came for two nights and stayed for five.”
“The rooftop at blue hour is worth the trip on its own. Service is warm, unhurried, and genuinely thoughtful.”
“Every detail feels considered — the jaali light, the linen, the food. Easily the best new hotel in Rajasthan.”
